In this session, participants will learn about how to create digital scavenger hunts to challenge students to solve problems using a variety of techniques and online resources. Some examples might be deciphering a snippet from a foreign language and finding a way to translate it or finding media of a landmark to obtain information for a puzzle. There will be a hands on component where participants create their own challenges as well. These tasks can involve almost any sort of online or physical resource and be connected to virtually any content area. The only limit is your imagination. If you're interested in Breakout boxes but can't find room in the budget, this session is for you!
