Learn about flexible, innovative professional development opportunities to meet the needs of all teachers within their schools. We will share our experience as coaches who support a wide variety of professionals across multiple schools, different grade levels, and all subject areas. Over the years, we noticed that our traditional professional development offerings were leaving some teachers out! As a result, we tried a variety of new approaches to professional development within our district. Examples include blended classes (online and face-to-face), connecting our teachers to digital professional resources outside of our district (such as blogs and podcasts), our own district podcast, small department meetings, and a quarterly newsletter.
