In this interactive session you will learn how to facilitate inclusive, structured, and data-driven Socratic Seminars and Fish Bowl Discussions using the Parlay Live RoundTable. This collaborative discussion activity is a great way for students to practice their academic speaking and listening skills, learn to build on their classmates ideas, challenge ideas respectfully, asking thought-provoking questions, and driving the conversation forward as a team. Finally, we will explore how to analyze automatic engagement data, so we can reflect on our performance as a class and assess / provide feedback to individual performers. Tech confidence: intermediate - advanced. (Presenter(s): Anna Lisa Martin, Parlay Ideas)
